The intention of producing this site was to provide a little light entertainment and perhaps some information that might be handy.
What I am trying to avoid is the site becoming a cross between a weblog and a very long entry from Friends Reunited !
I have deliberately included a page dedicated to Fun & Enjoyment, the idea is to post opinions on or suggestions for hostelries, venues, Etc. Or items of humour and anything else that might appeal. Suggestions for inclusion are very welcome and can be sent via the Contact page.
Items for Sale is not quite as capitalistic as it at first sounds, as is explained on that page.
The press cuttings page is intended to recreate April 1st for 364 days per year. Any outrageous, funny or ridiculous items are fair game for this page, as are cartoons. All submissions will be carefully considered. Tip, most national papers are reprinted on their website and copy/paste is very easy!
